PCB Tools (pcbtools.eu) is run by the owner named in the legal notice. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.
You can view and edit Gerber and Excellon files, convert them to 3D models and PDF, and read our articles. The service is in beta. It can change, slow down or stop at any time, and we don’t promise it will always be available or error free.
Rendering, layer detection, dimensions, scale and edits can differ from what your manufacturer’s software reads, and a converted or edited file can contain mistakes. Check your files with your manufacturer’s own review before ordering or producing boards, and measure anything that matters. You are responsible for your designs, for what you decide based on the output, and for the cost of manufacturing, assembly and testing. We don’t give engineering, legal or certification advice.
Articles summarise public documentation from manufacturers, standards bodies and software vendors as it was on the date shown. Prices, lead times, capabilities and customs rules change, so check with the company before you order. Companies and products are mentioned for information only: the blog has no paid placements, sponsored posts or affiliate links.
Please don’t: use the service for anything unlawful; upload malware or files meant to overload or exploit it; bypass rate limits or upload limits; access it with automated tools other than the Agent API; test its security without asking us; resell it as your own; or use it if you are subject to sanctions under applicable law. We may block access to anyone who does.
The Agent API (/agent) is for AI agents and scripts. It follows these terms, is free for now, is rate limited and may need an API key in the future. Files you send are deleted after the response. We may change or withdraw it at any time.
The service and its code, design and content (other than your files and third-party material) belong to the owner. These terms only let you use the service as it is offered. Open-source parts are used under their own licences. Third-party providers (hosting, content delivery, contact form) have their own terms for their own services.
The service is provided “as it is”, with no promise of accuracy, availability or fitness for a purpose. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profit or data, or for the cost of boards, components or assembly made from files processed here. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to 100 euros. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as intent or gross negligence, death or personal injury, or the mandatory rights you have as a consumer. If you use the service for business, you agree to cover claims from third parties caused by the files you upload or by breaking these terms, as far as the law allows. This does not apply to consumers.
If you think something on this website infringes your rights, write to info@pcbtools.eu with your contact details, what the work is, where our content appears and why you think it infringes. We review notices promptly.
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the new version.
Spanish law applies. Businesses: the Spanish courts have jurisdiction. Consumers: you can bring a dispute in the courts where you live, and your country’s mandatory consumer rules still apply. If a clause turns out to be invalid, the rest stays in force. Questions: info@pcbtools.eu.
